Getting Started

  1. Download MonoPump from the App Store
  2. Create your user profile
  3. Grant camera permissions when prompted
  4. Place your finger on the camera to start measuring

How accurate is the heart rate measurement?
MonoPump uses advanced camera-based heart rate detection. For best accuracy:
  • Ensure good lighting conditions
  • Keep your finger still on the camera lens
  • Cover the camera completely with your finger

Why can't I get a measurement?
If you're having trouble getting a reading:
  • Check that you've granted camera permissions
  • Ensure your finger covers both the camera and flash
  • Try in a well-lit area
  • Keep your hand steady during measurement
How do I export my data?
You can export your heart rate data in multiple formats:
  • Go to the Data Export tab
  • Select your preferred date range
  • Choose your export format (PDF, Excel, or HTML)
  • Share or save your exported file
How do I add multiple users?
MonoPump supports multiple user profiles:
  • Go to the User Management tab
  • Tap "Add User" to create a new profile
  • Switch between users from the home screen
Does MonoPump integrate with Apple Health?
Yes! MonoPump supports HealthKit integration. You can enable this in the HealthKit Settings section of the app to sync your heart rate data with Apple Health.
How do I change the app language?
MonoPump supports multiple languages:
  • Go to Settings within the app
  • Select Language Settings
  • Choose your preferred language
Currently supported languages: English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean.

Troubleshooting

App crashes or won't open
  • Try restarting your device
  • Update to the latest version of iOS
  • Ensure you have the latest version of MonoPump
  • If problems persist, please contact us
Measurements are inconsistent
  • Ensure you're in a well-lit area
  • Keep your hand perfectly still during measurement
  • Make sure your finger is warm (cold fingers can affect readings)
  • Wait at least 30 seconds after exercise before measuring
Data not syncing with HealthKit
  • Check that HealthKit permissions are enabled in Settings
  • Go to HealthKit Settings within MonoPump and verify the connection
  • Try toggling the HealthKit setting off and back on
